Seven-day combo tour to Kalmak Ashuu

Route:
The first location— archaeological museum of the Balasagun settlement. In the past, a large city on the northern thread of the Great Silk Road was the trading capital of the Karakhanid Empire. City Balasagun is the birthplace of the prominent Turkic thinker and poet Yu. Balasaguni. Not far from the sources of the Chui River is the Orto-Tokoy reservoir. Due to frequent changes in the water level , food-rich pastures are formed on the territory of the floodplain. Naryn region is the heart of the Tien Shan Mountains. It is famous for the untouched nature of the highlands and the ancient traditions of the nomadic peoples of Central Asia. You can climb the Son-Kul Lake by two picturesque passes.Kalmak-Ashuu (3446) or Terskey-Thorpok (3133). Son-Kul is the third largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. Surrounded on all sides by mountains, the mirror lies at an altitude of 3,013 m above sea level. It is one of the centers of ecological tourism and the traditional way of life of livestock farmers.

Route:
We will move to the village Bokonbaevo. The road to the village of Bokonbaevo will pass through one of the most beautiful and famous passes. This is the pass "33 parrots" or the official name "Teskey-Torpok", which is located at an altitude of 3133m.After descending through the pass, a shady path leading to a powerful waterfall with the same name "33 parrots". The height of the waterfall is about 25—30m. The altitude above sea level is 2600m. After taking pictures, refreshing ourselves at the waterfall, we will go further. Our way will run through the Dolon gorge, on the way we will stop at the village of Kyzyl Tuu, which is located on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kol. Upon arrival in Kyzyl Tuu , we will have a unique opportunity to observe a demonstration of how nomads built a yurt a thousand years ago, find out what the yurt is made of, how it is assembled, what its elements are called and words such as: barefoot, uuk, jabyk bash, rope chiy and others. We will find out how many years a yurt can last in nomadic conditions, how many days it takes to make a yurt and how many sheep need to be shorn in order to make felt to cover it. Also, we can take part in the construction of the yurt ourselves. After a rich demonstration master class, we will go to our next stop point –the village Bokonbaevo. Upon arrival in the village, we will be waiting for "Hunting with golden eagles and falcons". During the demonstration of falconry, we will be able to see the scene of a hunter, with a hunting falcon for a hare, fox, young deer and even a wolf and other small animals.

Route:
The day will be waiting for us with new locations and interesting legends of the Southern shore of Issyk Kul. The southern coast is famous for its untouched primeval nature, canyons, gorges and of course waterfalls. Leaving the village Bokonbaevo , we drive into the mysterious canyon "Fairy Tale", which is famous for its red clay rocks, unusual Martian landscape. Let 's take a walk through the canyon, take photos and go further to explore the gorge Barskoon. Gorge Barskoon(also Barskown)— this is one of the most beautiful gorges on the southern shore of Issyk -Kulya, famous for its high waterfalls and dense spruce forests. It is here that the largest gold mine in Kyrgyzstan , Kumtor, is located.Barskoon impresses with its size, expanses, high mountains, waterfalls. In the gorge, among the relict firs and pines, three waterfalls are hidden, originating from the glaciers of the highlands. The lowest of them -The Bowl of Manas, slightly higher -the Beard of the Aksakal, and at the very top there are Tears of a Leopard, Splashes of Champagne. Leopard Tears Waterfall It is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Kyrgyzstan , and it is here that Issyk is located- Kulsky Nature Reserve, designed to protect all this charm and virginity of nature for our descendants. After a little trekking through the gorge and to the waterfalls, we go to the next place. Jeti-Oguz Gorge, where at the entrance we are met by a rock with the poetic name Broken Heart. On the reverse side, this rock is called the "Rock of the Seven Bulls" or "Jeti Oguz". Seven Blood-red Bulls Jets -Oguza is weathered rocks, gradually changing their appearance every year under the influence of the strong Issyk-Kul wind. We will walk along the gorge, go to the "Broken Heart" rock, make a wish, ride horses.

Route:
In the morning we will have a small tracking 2 km to the waterfall "Maiden braids" via jailoo Kok Zhaiyk. The road will take about 40-45 minutes one way. We will climb the narrow goat paths, gradually gaining altitude. After trekking to the waterfall, we will have breakfast and drive to the city of Karakol. This city is rich in its history. Upon arrival in the city, we will take a small city tour of the city of Karakol with a visit to the Russian Orthodox church made of wood, a Chinese-style Muslim mosque and a historical museum. After that, we will visit local artisans and artists, where you can see their work. Dinner in a Uighur family. The hostess will tell a story of her kind. The day will start with a trip to the village of Chon Kemin, along the northern shore of Lake Issyk Kul. On the way we will stop at the Semenov gorge, we will see jailoo Kyrchyn , where the first and the second nomadic games were held. We will go down through the Grigoriev gorge, get acquainted with the beekeeper, who will tell you about the varieties of honey. You can try the world's most expensive white honey. Such honey is easily digested and it is considered less allergenic. Our beekeepers continue to experiment with honey mixes: they make honey with viburnum, barberry and currant. But the most popular flavors are sea buckthorn and milk. After leaving the gorges we will stop in the city Cholpon Ata , we will visit the cultural and spiritual center of Rukh Ordo . The complex is named after one of the most famous writers in the world— Chyngiz Torekulovich Aitmatov. There are 5 chapels built on the territory of the complex in honor of the 4 main faiths of the world: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism. Then our way lies to the Chon- Kemin gorge. Arrival at the Chon- Kemin Gorge. Kemin Nature Park is located on an area of 500 hectares, in the highlands below the village Shabdan . It is used to protect pheasants and hares. In the gorge you will have the opportunity to ride horses, ride a cart through the countryside with stories about the sights and famous people of the settlement

We will spend the first half of the day in the Chon Kemin Gorge. The Chon-Kemin Gorge and the valley of the same name are a unique natural area located in the northern part of Kyrgyzstan. There is a national park on the territory of the valley. Chon-Kemin is remarkable for its length: being a narrow gorge in its eastern part, it gradually expands, forming a wide valley in the central part and closing again at the very exit.On this day we are waiting for a horse ride through the gorge. Horseback riding- this is not only a way of active recreation. As well as a method of restoring strength after severe weekdays, or as in our case, after a long journey through the passes. We will drive through firs and birches, get acquainted with rare plants, with local nomads and learn about their unique traditions and lifestyle. After a 4-hour horse ride, an afternoon snack will be waiting for us at the guest house, after which we will leave for Bishkek
