Route:
Early breakfast and drive to Chon-Kemin Gorge with emerald lake Kol-Kogur hidden from prying eyes. On the way you will visit the remains of Burana, the ancient capital of the great Karakhanid state. Your guide will show you mausoleums and other buildings discovered by archeologists during excavations; you will climb to the very top of an ancient tower, from which a beautiful view of the Chui Valley and Tien-Shan mountains opens up; you will visit a small museum, which displays various archeological findings made on the territory of the settlement, and an open-air museum, where ancient grave stones, stones with petroglyphs and other interesting historical objects found on our territory are collected. Lake Koel-Kogur is located in Kyrgyzstan, in the Kungei Alatau mountain range and belongs to the basin of the high-water Chon-Kemin River. Together with the Big Almaty, Dzhasyl-Kol and Kolsai lakes it is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes of the Northern Tian Shan. Lake Kel-Kogur is situated in Kyrgyzstan, on the northern slope of the Kungei Ala-Too range, in a picturesque wooded area, at an altitude of 2,465 m above sea level. The lake belongs to the basin of the Chong-Kemin River. The Kel-Kogur River flows out of the lake and becomes the left tributary of the Chong-Kemin. Upon arrival, we will be accommodated in a guest house. After accommodation we will have lunch and start trekking to Kel-Kogur Lake on horseback. Upon arrival to the lake we will set up camp where we can rest, gain strength and have some food. After having had some rest and a good refreshment for the road we will continue our way back to the village where we settled down. 3 Day. Chon Kemin - Karakol
#

Route:
After breakfast, transfer to Karakol. This picturesque gorge is often called the calling card of the road connecting Bishkek and Lake Issyk-Kul, the "gate" of the Issyk-Kul Basin, separating it from the Chui Valley. The name Boom (Buam) is presumably Mongolian and translates as "steep rock, cliff on the river bank". The track leading from the capital to the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, rises to 260 m and enters Boom corridor in the gorge, which is located in the middle course of the Chu River, between the two ridges: Kungei Ala-Too and Kyrgyz Ala-Too. On the way we will stop by the Semenov and Grigorievskoye gorge, famous for its woody slopes, tumultuous Ak-Suu river, and mountainous lakes Suttu Bulak or 'The Holy Lake'. The lake, formed in 1910 as a result of the strong Vernens earthquake, is amazingly beautiful, and the water in it is cloudy and milky, as if you pour milk into a cup of tea, and not stir it. The depth of this lake is about 20 meters, the water is transparent with a bluish tint, the water temperature is about 5 degrees, on the lake you can see swimming wild ducks. With interesting tree bumps - the remnants of trees-grown strands of aquatic plants. In clear weather, all the colors of the rainbow play on the water surface of the lake in the shimmering sunlight. And all this is framed by tall Tien Shan firs and snowy peaks majestically reflected in the mirror of water. Upon arrival to the Sacred Lake we will have a rest by the lake, have some refreshments, take a dozen pictures and continue our route. At the end of the trekking we will go to the Northern shore of Issyk-Kul to the town of Karakol. We will tell you about it on the next day. On arrival in Karakol we will take a hotel, have dinner and go to the famous hot springs "Ak-Suu".

Route:
The morning of the fourth day begins with a leisurely tour of Karakol, the real tourist center of Kyrgyzstan. Every year tourists come here from all over the world and such popularity is not accidental. Besides amazing architecture and history of the city, the natural sights around are also very popular. We are going to visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the unique Dungan Mosque, which was built without a single nail, visit museums and local artisans' workshops. And of course you will have a chance to try Karakol Ashlam Fu. After we finish our tour around the city and have a tasting, we go to the canyon of Jeti-Oguz or the Rock of Seven Bulls. It is situated 30 kilometers away from Karakol and attracts a lot of tourists, both locals and foreigners.Jety-Oguz, translated from Kyrgyz, means "7 Bulls". Such a specific name was given to the gorge because of the red clay rock massif, which is a kind of visiting card of the gorge. The rocks have a very bright color, which is quite rare for the Tian Shan mountains. Upon arrival to the Jeti Oguz Gorge we will be accommodated in a guest complex, have dinner and rest.

Route:
After breakfast we will have a short trekking tour around Kok-Zhaiyk Jailoo and Maiden Spits waterfall. Kok-Zhaiyk valley is located in the Jety-Oguz gorge 25 km. from Karakol city and is one of the main Jailoo (summer pastures) in the south of Issyk-Kul. In spring the valley is covered with flowers and dandelions. In summertime, yurts are put up here and cattle graze. The 25-meter waterfall is unlike any other. The water, like a multitude of jets, tumbles down steep rocky rapids and splits into millions of drops below. After arriving at the falls, rest and head back down. Next point of our trip is Barskoon gorge, which is known for its cascades of waterfalls, green shady forests and the fact that this gorge was a favorite resting place of Yuri Gagarin. Upon arrival to Barskoon Gorge we will visit several waterfalls with poetic names such as "Manas Bowl", "Tears of Bars", "Splashes of Champagne". On the way to the waterfalls your guide will tell you what such an interesting name of the waterfalls is related to. After you come down from the waterfalls you will be transferred to the Southern bank of Issyk-Kul Lake and you will also visit a beautiful canyon called "Fairy Tale" where the wind has been grinding natural and fairy-tale sculptures for years. One of the most famous rocks is the "Chinese wall. It is so nicknamed by the people because of its resemblance to the famous architectural monument of China. Walking through the labyrinths of the canyon, you will feel yourself in a real fairy tale. It is not for nothing that the gorge is named as such. The rocks resemble castles, towers, monsters, giants, people and animals. 6 Day . Bokonbaevo - Son-Kol
#

Route:
Rise early in the morning, transfer to Son-Kul Lake (3016 m). On the way we will visit an artisan workshop in Kochkor village, Felt carpets or Kiiz are the basic necessities in the life of Kyrgyz nomads. They are used to build and decorate yurts: laid on the ground floor, cover the outside of the yurt, decorate the walls inside. Felt, made from natural sheep's wool, perfectly absorbs and evaporates moisture, while remaining dry and keeping heat inside the dwelling. Light colored wool is usually used for yurts to keep the inside light. Next we take a break for shopping and lunch. Then we will pass Kalmak-Ashuu Pass (3446 m), driving there you can get to the northern shore of the Son-Kul Lake. It is worth noting that the road over the pass is open only in summer and in autumn (June to October), otherwise it is impassable because of heavy snowfall. On the way to the pass, the nature is amazing: rocky deserts alternate with endless high-mountain meadows decorated with beautiful edelweiss. Its surroundings are a true paradise for Kyrgyz shepherds. On arrival at Son-Kol we will be settled in the eco-yurt town of Ulush Yurts. We will have dinner in authentic Kyrgyz yurts, enjoy fresh alpine air and clear starry sky.

7 Day . Son-Kol - Kel Suu
#

Route:
After a night in a Kyrgyz yurt and a hearty breakfast we will have no less interesting day, drive to the valley of Ak-Sai and Kok-Kyia. We will go down from the lake Son-Kol by one of the most beautiful passes "33 Parrots", we will have a walk up to the waterfall of the same name - 33 Parrots. The name of the pass was given by the number of serpentines. When we come to Naryn, we will have lunch here, then we will go to Ak-Sai valley from the East through Kynda pass (the pass is open for travel only 6 months in a year, in the winter it is closed because of snow and frost). We are stopped twice by the border guards to check our papers and permission. There is a border zone in the Ak-Sai valley. You only need a pass to enter. It is a small place of natural grandeur, surrounded by the brutal ranges of At-Bashi and Kakshaal-Too. The latter is the longest and highest range of the Tien Shan. Its eastern part has the highest point - Victory Peak (7,439 m). On the way we will see horses, sheep and yaks grazing peacefully among numerous glacier tributaries of the Ak-Sai River, which means "white stream". And indeed, the benign purity of this harsh high-mountainous plateau is beyond doubt. On the bank of the wide riverbed of the Kok-Kyia, among the spurs of the Kakshaal-Too mountain range, our yurt camp has settled down. In harmony with elements and in full isolation from civilization. Before dinner we take an easy walk to the river bank.

8 Day . Kel Suu Lake
#

Route:
Wake up next to the Sary-Beles Glacier to observe its bright sheen in the sunny morning and warm colors on the rocky texture at sunset in the afternoon. After breakfast we will have a radial hike to the lake. Kel-Suu lake itself is hidden between the tops of Kel-Too and Sary-Beles ridges. Like elder brothers, they protect its young sister from "imperfection" of the outer world, feeding it with pure glacier waters. The lake was formed by a rockfall, has a zigzag shape. All 12 kilometers long and shallow in depth. Sometimes the lake hides, going underground and exposing a dry, cracked bottom. As if reminding mankind of the fragility of nature. Among the rocky shores, hard-to-reach grottoes and caves are inhabited by wild animals. We will explore the lake shore and possibly take a boat ride. Lunch will be overlooking the lake. We'll take some cool pictures and just relax. Afterwards we will start the descent to our camp. In the evening you can play volleyball or relax at the camp. Those who wish can ride horses.

9 Day . Kel Suu - Chatyr Kol - Tash Rabat
#

Route:
One of the most famous and popular tourist sites in the region is Tash-Rabat (15th century), built in a remote but picturesque gorge monumental stone structure. It is a unique structure. Tash Rabat is situated in the heart of Tien Shan mountain range. Tash Rabat was built of stone blocks in the mountain at an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level. It consists of a total of 31 rooms in the mountain. Its walls are one meter thick. It also has an underground prison, which in ancient times was used to imprison thieves there. There are many legends about it. According to one of them, Tash-Rabat was built by a community of people from Rum (Byzantium) in the X - XII centuries, by which some researchers mean Christians. But most researchers tend to see it as a caravanserai serving a branch of the Silk Road, where travelers could rest and gain strength. Also on this day we will visit Lake Chatyr-Kul - the highest of the largest lakes in Tien-Shan. The mark of its mirror is 3530 meters above sea level. The water in the lake is of a beautiful yellowish-green color. The lake is undrained, the main tributary of the lake is the river Kek-Aigir. In winter, the lake is frozen, and the thickness of the ice can be 1.5 meters. to Tashkent, hotel accommodation, dinner and sleep. You will spend the night in yurts, near Tash Rabat

#

Route:
On the tenth day we will be transferred to Kazarman through the Mels and Kulak Ashuu passes to Baetovo village, from high rocky cliffs to sparkling glaciers Baetovo region is full of amazing landscapes. The Mels Ashuu Pass is located in Naryn province. Near Baetovo village, the height of the pass reaches 3,420 meters. The pass was named after Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin. The abbreviation MELS was formed from the first letters of their names. In Soviet times, it was very fashionable to create names this way, so Mels is not only the name of the pass, but also a popular male name. Mels-Ashuu Pass is a popular and favorite tour route, because the panorama that opens from its summit is as beautiful as the famous Moldo-Ashuu Pass. The path to the pass is very diverse. Hills, alternate canyons of red clay, and from a bird's eye view, you can see the entire valley. A fairly groomed, dusty trail connects Baetov to Tash-Rabat. It crosses two passes that offer spectacular views of the region: Borulu Ashuu Pass (3262 m) and Kulak Ashuu Pass (3390 m). Ruins of ancient mausoleums and monuments of once-existing tribes follow the route. Our route takes us through semi-desert, hot landscapes, high passes and alpine meadows. In the vicinity of Baetov you will see bedlands, and from the Kara-Koo (Mels) Pass, amazingly beautiful landscapes of bedlands. These landscapes are especially beautiful at sunset. Our task is to have time to capture these magnificent panoramas. Upon arrival in Casarman, accommodation in the guesthouse, dinner and rest.

Route:
In the morning after breakfast we will have a small excursion, in a pavilion called "Manas ata" you can find nut oil, apples, dried alycha, mushrooms, as well as various useful herbs for sale. After a useful tour and tasting we will go to the Sary-Chelek nature reserve. Sary-Chelek is a mountain lake, the largest in the Western Tien Shan and is the base of the 5 lakes reserve of the same name. It is located in the western part of the Jalal-Abad region, in the foothills of the Chatkal range, at an altitude of 1940 meters. The Sary-Chelek lake is of the rubble type. The lake was formed about 10,000 years ago after a powerful earthquake that swamped the valley with the river flowing in it. The first thing that catches your eye at Sary-Chelek is the amazing clarity of the water. This is a great rarity for the lakes of Tien Shan - usually in the mountain lakes water is opaque due to the large number of mineral impurities. Sary-Chelek is an exception. Sary-Chelek is the second deepest lake in Kyrgyzstan and the third deepest in Central Asia. Its depth in some places reaches 234 meters and because of that even in summer the lake is not heated more than 20 degrees, and in winter it barely has time to cool down to 0. Arrival in the village of Arkyt, accommodation in a guest house, delicious national dinner.

Route:
In the morning we will continue our way along the Bishkek-Osh highway to the Chychkan Gorge. On the way we will reach the water pearl of Kyrgyzstan - Toktogul Reservoir. It is located on the Naryn River and is not only the largest in the country, but also in the whole Central Asia. The Toktogul Reservoir is unique, it has two most powerful hydroelectric power stations - Toktogul and Kurpsai. Construction of the reservoir lasted for ten years, in '73 began filling, and now it does not look like the work of human hands. Toktogul district is the cradle of creativity. A lot of Kyrgyz artists, poets and painters came from these places. And it is not surprising, because from the early age nature develops sense of beauty. The reservoir and the hydroelectric power station owes its name to Toktogul Satylganov, a great Kyrgyz poet-improviser, composer, musician and fighter for national independence. You can taste unbelievably tasty mountain fried trout or humpback salmon, drink tea and enjoy the view of the reservoir. Having tasted the fish we will drive through the narrow and picturesque gorge Chychkan, which means "mouse" in Kyrgyz. Such a specific name was given to the gorge because of the abundance of field mice that live in numerous burrows on its slopes. And the slopes of the gorge are covered with Tien Shan fir, wild juniper flowers and berries. Upon arrival in Chychkan Gorge, we will check-in at one of the guest houses.
