Do I need a visa to travel to Kyrgyzstan?
Citizens of many countries can enter Kyrgyzstan without a visa. Visa requirements depend on your nationality, so we recommend checking the entry requirements before travelling.
What is the best time to travel to Kyrgyzstan?
The best time for most tours is from May to October. July and August are ideal for high-altitude trips, while September offers milder weather and a more peaceful travel experience.
What kind of weather can I expect?
Summers in Kyrgyzstan are generally warm and sunny, but temperatures vary depending on altitude. In the cities, temperatures are usually around +25 to +35°C, while around Issyk-Kul they range from +20 to +30°C. Mountain areas are considerably cooler, with occasional short rain showers and thunderstorms. For mountain trips, we recommend bringing warm clothing and a rain jacket.
