This 7-day journey through Kyrgyzstan combines breathtaking landscapes, cultural experiences, and the opportunity to discover the country’s traditions while travelling comfortably through its most fascinating regions.
The tour begins in Bishkek and continues through some of Kyrgyzstan’s most remarkable historical and natural attractions. The itinerary includes a visit to the ancient Burana Tower, the scenic Jeti-Oguz, Barskoon, and Skazka canyons, as well as a journey to Son-Kul, a high-altitude lake located more than 3,000 metres above sea level.
A special feature of the tour is the opportunity to experience Kyrgyzstan from different perspectives — from historical monuments and traditional crafts to mountain lakes, canyons, and waterfalls. Along the way, you will visit natural attractions, learn about traditional yurt-making and local handicrafts, and discover Kyrgyz customs and traditions.
Another highlight of the programme is eagle hunting, an ancient nomadic tradition that is still preserved in Kyrgyzstan today. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the culture and way of life of local people and taste traditional Kyrgyz cuisine.
Accommodation is provided in guesthouses and traditional ethnic complexes, allowing you to relax after each day of exploration while experiencing the warmth and atmosphere of traditional Kyrgyz hospitality.

Arrival at Manas International Airport, followed by a transfer to the hotel. After check-in and a short rest, begin your first introduction to Bishkek — a city of wide boulevards, green parks, and a rich history.
During the city tour, you will see some of the capital’s main landmarks, including Victory Square, dedicated to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Museum of Fine Arts, and an open-air art gallery.
The tour continues through the heart of the city to Ala-Too Square, home to the National Historical Museum and monuments reflecting the history of Kyrgyzstan. You will then take a walk through the shady Oak Park, visit Old Square, Panfilov Park, and the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic.
A special atmosphere can be experienced at Osh Bazaar — a lively and colourful traditional market where you can see local life, taste traditional products, and shop for souvenirs.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at Supara Ethno-Complex. In the cosy atmosphere of this traditional complex, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Kyrgyz traditions, experience the spirit of nomadic culture, and taste traditional Kyrgyz cuisine.
After dinner, return to the hotel and relax.
After breakfast, depart from Bishkek and travel to the high-altitude Son-Kul Lake. Along the way, discover the history and natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan.
The first stop is Burana Tower, one of the country’s most important historical landmarks. You will also visit the open-air museum and see ancient stone carvings known as balbals, which have survived from the time of the nomadic peoples.
Next, stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir, surrounded by picturesque mountain landscapes.
Continue to the village of Kochkor, where lunch will be served. After lunch, travel to Son-Kul Lake, nestled among vast high-altitude pastures.
Upon arrival, check in at Ulush Yurts Eco-Ethno Complex. Enjoy some free time to relax, take a walk along the lakeshore, and experience the atmosphere of traditional nomadic life.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time on the shores of Son-Kul Lake. Those who wish can go horseback riding and take in the vast landscapes surrounding the high-altitude lake.
Then continue towards the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, travelling to the village of Bokonbaevo. Along the way, stop in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu, famous for its skilled craftsmen who make traditional Kyrgyz yurts. Here, you will visit a local family, learn about the yurt-making process, and have the opportunity to take part in assembling a yurt.
Upon arrival in Bokonbaevo, discover one of the ancient traditions of the Kyrgyz nomads — eagle hunting. You will witness a traditional eagle-hunting demonstration and learn more about the role of golden eagles in Kyrgyz culture.
After a full day of experiences, check in at a guesthouse, enjoy dinner, and have some free time to relax.
After breakfast, depart for the picturesque Jeti-Oguz Gorge. Today’s journey follows the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, with stops at some of the region’s most famous natural attractions.
The first stop is Skazka Canyon, known for its unusual sandstone formations shaped by wind and water over thousands of years. Enjoy a walk through the canyon and take in its otherworldly landscapes.
Continue to Barskoon Gorge, where famous waterfalls are surrounded by mountain forests and stunning scenery. You will have the opportunity to hike to two waterfalls and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.
On the way to Jeti-Oguz, stop at the famous red rock formations known as the Seven Bulls and the Broken Heart, which have become symbols of the region.
Upon arrival at Jeti-Oguz Gorge, check in at a traditional yurt camp, relax, and enjoy some free time surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning hike of approximately 2 km to the Maiden’s Braids Waterfall. The trail leads through a picturesque mountain gorge, offering fresh mountain air and beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
After the hike, depart for Karakol. Along the way, stop at the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, where those who wish can go kayaking and experience the famous lake from the water.
Upon arrival in Karakol, begin exploring the city. The programme includes visits to local artisans and artists, where you can discover their work and learn more about the traditional crafts and art of the region.
In the evening, enjoy dinner with a Dungan family and experience their traditional cuisine, customs, and culture.
After a full day of activities, enjoy some free time and relax.
After breakfast, depart for the picturesque Chon-Kemin Valley. Today’s journey takes you through stunning mountain landscapes, gorges, and natural attractions along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
Along the way, visit Semenov Gorge, known for its green slopes, mountain rivers, and panoramic views. Continue through Grigoriev Gorge, one of the most scenic gorges in the region.
During the journey, meet a local beekeeper who will introduce you to traditional beekeeping practices and the different varieties of local honey.
The next stop is the town of Cholpon-Ata, where you will visit the Ruh Ordo Cultural and Spiritual Centre, named after the famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov and located on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake.
After the visit, continue to the village of Chon-Kemin. Upon arrival, check in at a guesthouse, enjoy dinner, and have some free time to relax surrounded by nature.
After breakfast, enjoy a 3–4-hour horseback ride through the picturesque Chon-Kemin Valley. Take in the peaceful surroundings, stunning mountain landscapes, and vast open spaces of one of Kyrgyzstan’s most beautiful valleys.
After returning to the guesthouse, enjoy lunch before departing for Bishkek.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and have some time to relax. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner where you can share your travel experiences, look back on the highlights of the journey, and spend your final evening in Kyrgyzstan in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
